  • 2020 Community Partner of the Year​
    Issued By: CHISPA (Community Housing Improvement Systems and Planning Association, Inc.)
    CHISPA and Loaves, Fishes & Computers partners to provide computer classes to CHISPA [low-income) residents throughout Monterey County. This partnership teaches CHISPA residents how to use computers and how to monitor their children's computer usage. The partnership with CHISPA allows LFC to reach people whom LFC usually cannot access. CHSIPA is opening doors for its families, one computer and class at a time.

    ​Issued By: Nonprofit Alliance of Monterey County.
    LFC was recognized for its service to the community on Dec. 3 at NAMC’s annual breakfast at the Hyatt Regency in Monterey. As of 2015, LFC has provided more than 1,700 computers to Monterey County low-income people, households, and organizations. Its volunteers have provided thousands of hours of one-on-one computer repairs to low-income clients. In addition, LFC has trained and exposed thousands of volunteers and students to computer repair and tech support.
